What the form asks
OpenAI is collecting stories from builders, researchers, tinkerers and creators using Codex. Its Codex Originals form asks applicants to describe themselves and their project, and to provide links that show their work. Contact and location fields are also included.
The form says submitting gives consent to contact by OpenAI and that submissions are handled under its Privacy Policy. The page does not state a closing date, cash award, employment offer or guarantee of selection. We checked the current form on October 5; it does not provide a launch date.
What makes a creative submission useful
For a creative technologist, our assessment is that a clear account of a finished or working project will be more informative than a general claim about productivity. Explain the brief, what the tool did, the decisions you made and what the result allows someone to do.
Choose links and screenshots that you are authorised to share. A client project may need approval before it can appear in a vendor programme. Review the live form and its current terms before submitting; this story is information about the call, not an application made on anyone’s behalf.
