Google announced Google Pics on September 1 as an image-generation and editing product for Workspace. Google describes both a standalone tool and integrations with its document apps. The announcement says Docs and Slides integration began that day, with Drive integration to follow over the coming weeks.

The company lists object isolation, edits to text inside images, translation and shared editing among its capabilities. It describes a rollout to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and most Workspace business customers. That announcement does not establish that every eligible account has received access.

Teams preparing decks, brand concepts or social assets can test whether the integration reduces the work of moving images between applications. Review product details and lettering after each edit. Google’s demonstrations are vendor examples, so they should not substitute for checking an output against the original brief.
