Adobe introduced a Light Adjustment Layer as a non-destructive layer-workflow control. Adobe labeled AI Assisted Editor as beta on 27 August 2026. Adobe says Instruct Edit with Masks preserves areas outside the mask. Adobe says Prompt to Edit outputs are added as generative layers.
