Luma Dream Machine

Luma's Dream Machine documentation covers image and video creation. Its Ray3 Modify guide describes changing an input shot with character references and keyframes, with a strength control for the degree of transformation. That workflow gives a director specific choices to review across the shot. Luma also publishes a newer Luma Agents app guide and separate Ray3.2 API documentation; their controls and account terms need their own scope checks.

Terms
Luma's 14 May 2026 consumer terms condition commercial use on a qualifying paid subscription when the output was produced. They include training rights for paid-period inputs and outputs. API and enterprise agreements differ.

What to check

  • Ray3 Modify accepts input video up to ten seconds.
  • For input longer than five seconds, the displayed end keyframe comes from the five-second position.
  • Higher Modify Strength can alter camera motion.
