IPTC Photo Metadata
IPTC provides structured fields that travel with a photograph: information about the image and the people or processes behind it. Version 2025.1 adds fields for the AI system, its version, prompt information and the prompt writer. These fields help a picture desk or creative team describe an asset consistently. They are declarations, not a substitute for checking provenance or permission to publish.
