Description
Realities in Transition and L.E.V. seek three artists to collaboratively create an exploratory VRChat world. The online residency runs January–June 2027, with a September 2027 premiere. Each artist receives €10,000 gross; a separate production pool of up to €15,000 supports the project. Apply by October 23, 2026, 23:59 CEST.
Responsibilities
Develop a shared VR environment for PC and standalone headsets, contribute to planning and mentoring, and prepare public presentations. Submit a portfolio and an English application with a video of no more than two minutes. Confirm travel arrangements: the artist fee excludes travel, accommodation and subsistence.
Requirements and eligibility
Applicants need VR development experience, must be 18+, permanently resident in an EU or Creative Europe associated country, fluent in English, able to invoice, work and travel in Europe, and available for the programme. Prior RiT1 grantees, consortium affiliates and people excluded from EU funding are ineligible. Only one programme grant is allowed per participant. The call-specific €10,000 online offer differs from general programme terms; confirm the agreement before accepting.
