Luma is hiring a Staff Product Software Engineer to guide product architecture and delivery with AI coding tools. The role works with design and research while retaining responsibility for system behavior, reliability and technical decisions. Full-time. Redwood City, California, US — hybrid. US$235,000–$353,000 per year base salary; equity offered.
Responsibilities
Define system boundaries and data models, direct AI-assisted implementation, make architecture and reliability trade-offs, own delivery outcomes and mentor engineers on rigorous use of AI tools.
Requirements and eligibility
8+ years shipping production software, substantial end-to-end technical ownership and practical use of AI coding tools. Strong system-design judgment or product intuition, ideally both.
