Description
Instrument is seeking freelance product designers for upcoming digital product and experience engagements, with scope varying from Senior Designer to hands-on Design Director.
Responsibilities
Design desktop and mobile product journeys, flows, interfaces and prototypes. Build and document reusable components and design systems, present decisions to clients and support implementation with engineering. Design Directors also guide workstream quality, mentor designers and advise senior client partners.
Requirements and eligibility
Significant digital-product or complex responsive-web experience, with a portfolio showing visual craft, UX, systems thinking and your individual contribution. Advanced Figma components, variables, libraries, prototyping and documentation; practical design-system and accessibility experience. Senior designers must own complex work independently; directors also need hands-on team and client leadership. US remote contract engagements, spanning Senior Product Designer to Design Director.
Compensation
$61-120 per hour; varies by location, experience, and skillset
